MINIMUM AGE
It is our studio’s policy, that we do not tattoo people under the age of 18 with or without parental consent. ID will be required. No ifs, no buts or maybes sorry!
CONSULTATIONS
Consultations are the most important step in the tattoo process. You are most welcome to come into the studio for a quote & brief discussion about tattoo ideas & designs.
In many cases, a proper sit-down ½ hour consult/sketch is not required unless the tattoo is a purely one off and needs to be hand drawn for you specifically. If so, please request a booking for a free consultation with the artist of your choice and allow 1 – 2 weeks prior to your desired tattoo appointment.
BOOKINGS
Best thing to do is have a look on our Instagram page @thetattshop or our Facebook page and see who’s work you like best.
Every artist here has a unique style so it’s very important that you pick someone that can convey what style you would like your tattoo to be done inn .(If you’re unsure maybe show us any references you have and we can recommend someone for you )
From there we will get you to pop into the shop for a free consultation with that artist where we can run through everything with you,
The artist you like best will look at references you might have and size it up correctly to fit your body and give you a quote from there.
Bookings are essential so that we may allow the appropriate time for each one of our clients to receive first class service.
Absolutely no bookings will be made via Facebook, Instagram, or Email. *Exceptions for those who are from interstate/overseas.
DEPOSITS
Minimum deposit of $100 and is a must to secure your booking.
Deposits are held & included in your final session.
All deposits are Nonrefundable.
No shows or late cancellations (24 hours before appointment) will result in loss of deposit .
CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING
Cancellations within 48 hours of a booking may result in forfeit of deposit. Please give the studio at least 2 days’ notice if you are rescheduling. Cancellations will not be accepted via Voicemail, Instagram, or Facebook.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept Eftpos transactions, or cash in the studio for your convenience.
PayPal transactions must be made 3 days prior to booking
TATTOOS WE DONT DO
- We do not tattoo ladies who are pregnant/breast feeding.
- Any person under the age of 18 (we do NOT accept parental consent )
- Any person under the influence of drugs and alcohol
AFTERCARE
We offer aftercare & instructions in studio. Any information you need about looking after your tattoo can be found on our leaflet on the front desk, free for you to take & read.

We are open 10am – 6pm, seven days a week, please call and visit us within these hours only.
HOW OUR QUOTES WORK
We charge $200 an hour and $150 minimum.
We will give you a price estimate based on how long your chosen design will take to tattoo
We do not quote large tattoos online. for the most accurate quote drop by the shop for a free chat and we can have a look at size and placement.
